The Agriturismo La Dimora dei Cavalieri is located in the municipality of Vaglio Basilicata in the province of Potenza which has 2,320 inhabitants at a height of 954 meters above sea level. It is a village rich in history and archaeological sites that tell the story of the life of the Lucanian people.
In the surroundings of the farm there are areas of particular natural and landscape value such as the Lucanian Dolomites where the Flight of the Angel can be carried out from May to November. Two other beautiful parks are the Grancia Park and the Gallipoli Cognato Park.
About an hour’s drive away are Matera and the Sassi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993, and the Murgia Materana Park.
